Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Continues Demo Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/12/19):

NBC (6.367 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was still the demo champ on Tuesday thanks to originals from "Ellen's Game of Games" (6.013 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2), "This Is Us" (7.327 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "New Amsterdam" (5.760 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

CBS (9.942 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "NCIS" (13.242 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3), "FBI" (9.430 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (7.154 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Next up was ABC (3.396 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its lineup of "American Housewife" (4.263 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6), "The Kids Are Alright" (3.195 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "Black-ish" (3.124 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Splitting Up Together" (2.615 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "The Rookie" (3.591 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.380 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Lethal Weapon" (3.169 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and "The Gifted" (1.592 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14).

And finally, originals from "The Flash" (1.710 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "Roswell, New Mexico" (1.148 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15) on The CW (1.429 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) rounded out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.4/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/13/18):

NBC (20.118 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.2, #1) paved the way to victory on Tuesday thanks to its coverage of the "2018 Winter Olympics" (20.118 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.2, #1).

ABC (2.726 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) then was a distant second with the launch of "The Bachelor Winter Games" (3.003 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) and the special "20/20: Lights, Camera, Romance!" (2.174 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).

Next up was CBS (5.813 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with repeats of "NCIS" (6.857 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2), "Bull" (5.529 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (5.055 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

FOX (1.982 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) likewise opted for second runs of "Lethal Weapon" (2.428 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), "LA to Vegas" (1.671 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "The Mick" (1.400 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (1.089 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and a new "Black Lightning" (1.784 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) on The CW (1.436 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) rounded out the night.
