Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "The Voice" Hold Off New Competition

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/18/19):

NBC (7.999 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) pulled in front on Monday thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (9.734 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "The Enemy Within" (4.529 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

FOX (5.510 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then claimed the silver with a new "The Resident" (5.075 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and the return of "9-1-1" (5.945 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2).

Next up was ABC (5.486 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with the Monday premiere of "American Idol" (6.047 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) followed by the launch of "The Fix" (4.366 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.294 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up its combination of "The Big Bang Theory" (5.777 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), a new "Man with a Plan" (5.077 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4), another "The Big Bang Theory" (4.578 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "The Neighborhood" (3.672 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11) and a new "Bull" (6.330 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

And finally, The CW (0.937 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night with a new "Arrow" (1.025 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) and the season finale of "Black Lightning" (0.849 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (8.204 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) then took home the silver with new episodes from "American Idol" (7.742 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2) and "The Good Doctor" (9.128 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T2).

Next up was CBS (5.105 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and its mix of "Kevin Can Wait" (5.919 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Man with a Plan" (5.624 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6), "Superior Donuts" (5.111 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8), "Living Biblically" (4.207 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) and "Scorpion" (4.886 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.731 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) offered up originals from "Lucifer" (3.235 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "The Resident" (4.227 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6).

And finally, new episodes of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.274 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "iZombie" (0.755 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (1.014 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) rounded out the night.
