Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "American Idol" Lead Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/21/19):

ABC (5.339 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) scored the demo crown on Sunday with its mix of a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.652 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2) followed by originals from "American Idol" (6.421 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and "Shark Tank" (3.864 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T2).

CBS (6.717 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was the most-watched broadcaster with its lineup of "60 Minutes" (8.308 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "Motown 60: A Grammy Celebration" (6.866 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and the season finale of "Madam Secretary" (4.830 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12).

Next up was NBC (2.575 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) and its combination of "Ellen's Game of Games" (2.331 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) alongside fresh installments of "World of Dance" (2.905 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) and "Good Girls" (2.160 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.134 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up its all-repeat lineup of "The Simpsons" (0.783 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T15), "Bob's Burgers" (0.916 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12), another "The Simpsons" (1.237 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), another "Bob's Burgers" (1.166 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), "Family Guy" (1.297 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and another "Family Guy" (1.403 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).
