Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Stays on Top with "America's Got Talent: Best of Auditions"

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/21/20):

NBC (4.478 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1) held onto the top spot on Tuesday with "America's Got Talent: Best of Auditions" (5.064 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1) and a new "World of Dance" (3.307 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2).

CBS (4.255 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #2) took home the silver with repeats of "NCIS" (5.329 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3), "FBI" (4.148 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and "FBI: Most Wanted" (3.290 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6).

Next up was ABC (2.085 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #3) and its lineup of "Modern Family" (2.311 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3), another "Modern Family" (1.744 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6), "United We Fall" (1.908 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6), another "United We Fall" (1.885 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6) and a new "What Would You Do?" (2.330 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.034 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #4) opted for repeats of "Hell's Kitchen" (1.305 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T6) and "Prodigal Son" (0.763 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12).

And finally, The CW (0.536 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with "DC's Stargirl" (0.786 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) and "Bryan Callen: Complicated Apes" (0.287 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13).

Next up was CBS (2.676 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) and its trio of "Love Island" (2.249 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T5), a repeat "NCIS" (2.860 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Blood & Treasure" (2.918 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.063 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) served up the special "USA Champions: The Story of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup" (1.037 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and a repeat "9-1-1" (1.089 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T13).
