Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: Originals Keep ABC on Top in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/6/20):

ABC (2.787 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #1) remained the demo champ on Thursday with its trio of "Holey Moley" (2.951 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2), "Don't" (2.447 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2) and "To Tell the Truth" (2.962 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1).

CBS (2.940 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) then was the most-watched network with its all-repeat lineup of "Young Sheldon" (4.004 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), "The Unicorn" (2.825 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7), "Mom" (3.013 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7), another "Mom" (2.880 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7) and "Bull" (2.458 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7).

Next up was NBC (2.161 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) and its second run mix of "Ellen's Game of Games" (2.485 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.877 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7) and another "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.120 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.605 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) served up the primetime portion of "MLB on FOX" (1.605 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4).

And finally, a new "Killer Camp" (0.465 million viewers, #T13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) and a repeat "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.465 million viewers, #T13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) rounded out the night on The CW (0.465 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5).

FOX (4.455 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was the network to beat on an NFL-fueled Thursday with fresh installments of "MasterChef" (4.876 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) and "Spin the Wheel" (4.033 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5).

NBC (4.451 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was a close second with its all-repeat lineup of "The Wall" (4.900 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5), "Hollywood Game Night" (4.723 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (3.730 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

Next up was CBS (4.320 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) with repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (4.635 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "Young Sheldon" (4.449 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) alongside originals from "Big Brother 21" (5.053 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) and "Elementary" (3.366 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.932 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up its trio of "Holey Moley" (4.690 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Family Food Fight" (3.803 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7) and "Reef Break" (3.302 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline," averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
