Animal Planet's "Pit Bulls & Parolees" Breaks Ratings Records This Season with Annual "You Watch, We Give" Episode on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 9 PM ET/PT

ANIMAL PLANET'S "PIT BULLS & PAROLEES" BREAKS RATINGS RECORDS THIS SEASON WITH ANNUAL "YOU WATCH, WE GIVE" EPISODE ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 5 AT 9 PM ET/PT

-Donation Benefits Villalobos Rescue Center Featured in the Series-

PIT BULLS & PAROLEES reached more than one million total viewers and broke season ratings records across the 25-54 demo (Persons, Women and Men) as well as Persons and Women 18-49 on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 9PM ET/PT with its annual "You Watch, We Give" episode. The episode, "Everything for Emma", pushed Animal Planet into cable's Top Five in its time period among Women 25-54 (#5) with a .51 rating, and into the Top 10 among Person 25-54 (#10), Persons 18-49 (#8), Persons 18-34 (#8), Women 18-49 (#6) and Women 18-34 (#7).

Part of Animal Planet's ongoing commitment to make a positive impact in the animal world, Saturday's episode helped drive the network's annual donation to Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC) a 501 ( C ) 3 nonprofit, based on the number of viewers who watched. The donation (Up to $50,000) will help provide food, medication and vet care for the hundreds of dogs cared for every day at Villalobos Rescue Center.
