Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Sunday Night Football" Leads NBC to Another Victory

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (9/27/20):

NBC (12.199 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1) was still the network to beat with its lineup of "Football Night in America #1" (4.890 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6), "Football Night in America #2" (6.142 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (13.022 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (14.707 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.3, #2).

FOX (6.998 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) got a boost from a full hour of "NFL Overrun" (15.346 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.7, #1) followed by the season premieres of "The Simpsons" (5.539 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4), "Bless the Harts" (2.222 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #8), "Bob's Burgers" (1.802 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and "Family Guy" (1.731 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Next up was CBS (3.685 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its mix of "60 Minutes" (7.307 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "Big Brother 22" (4.123 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7), "Love Island" (1.752 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) and a repeat "NCIS: New Orleans" (1.557 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.030 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) served up a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (3.252 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) followed by the two-hour "$ellebrity: The Go-To Girls - A Special Edition of 20/20" (1.857 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and a repeat "Card Sharks" (1.156 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T16).
