Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: "Chicago" Dramas Return on Top for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/13/21):

NBC (6.958 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) pulled into the top spot on Wednesday thanks to the return of "Chicago Med" (7.414 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1), "Chicago Fire" (7.063 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) and "Chicago PD" (6.397 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3).

FOX (2.924 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) had to settle for second with its duo of "The Masked Dancer" (2.912 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) and "Name That Tune" (2.936 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

Next up was CBS (3.970 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) and its lineup of "The Price Is Right at Night" (4.810 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "SEAL Team" (3.901 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "S.W.A.T." (3.199 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.863 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) offered up the 2021 premieres of "The Goldbergs" (3.720 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "American Housewife" (3.048 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "The Conners" (3.767 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8) followed by the launch of "Call Your Mother" (3.227 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and a repeat "The Chase" (1.709 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13).

And finally, repeats of "Riverdale" (0.333 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14) and "Nancy Drew" (0.203 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.0, #15) on The CW (0.268 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.0, #5) closed out the night.

Next up was ABC (2.960 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with originals from "The Goldbergs" (3.607 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Schooled" (2.873 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8), "Modern Family" (3.835 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4), "Single Parents" (2.484 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8) and "Stumptown" (2.482 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).
