Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Golden Globe Awards" Put NBC on Top in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/28/21):

NBC (4.990 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) claimed top demo honors on Sunday with its presentations of the "Golden Globes Pre-Show" (3.710 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) and "The 78th Golden Globe Awards" (5.417 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1).

ABC (5.499 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) took home the silver with its trio of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.651 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3), "American Idol" (6.474 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) and "The Rookie" (3.396 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

Next up was CBS (6.537 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its quartet of "60 Minutes" (7.920 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #6), "The Equalizer" (7.580 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (5.722 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (4.927 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).
