Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "NCIS" Puts CBS on Top in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/6/21):

CBS (8.040 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1) reclaimed the top spot on Tuesday with originals from "NCIS" (9.880 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1), "FBI" (7.855 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) and "FBI: Most Wanted" (6.385 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4).

NBC (3.382 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) had to settle for second with its mix of "Young Rock" (2.552 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5), "Kenan" (1.944 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6), "This Is Us" (4.365 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) and "New Amsterdam" (3.534 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6).

Next up was ABC (1.775 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) and its lineup of "Pooch Perfect" (2.511 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6), "Black-ish" (1.630 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9), "Mixed-ish" (1.465 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and the season finale of "Soul of a Nation" (1.265 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #14).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.266 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T3) again opted for repeats of "The Resident" (1.312 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "The Masked Singer" (1.220 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

And finally, The CW (0.845 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) wrapped the night with new episodes of "The Flash" (0.992 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "Supergirl" (0.698 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #15).

NBC (3.782 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) was a close second with a new "Ellen's Game of Games" (5.387 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1), a repeat "New Amsterdam" (2.640 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11) and another "NBC News Special Report: Coronavirus Pandemic" (3.319 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11).

ABC (3.417 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) likewise shared the silver with its mix of "The Conners" (6.226 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2), "Bless This Mess" (3.901 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6), "Mixed-ish" (2.954 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6), "Black-ish" (2.734 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and "For Life" (2.344 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).
