Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: "Chicago" Dramas Pull NBC in Front

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/5/21):

NBC (6.442 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) pulled into the top spot on Wednesday thanks to originals from "Chicago Med" (6.818 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4), "Chicago Fire" (6.952 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Chicago PD" (5.557 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2).

FOX (3.363 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) had to settle for second with its duo of "The Masked Singer" (4.400 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) and "Game of Talents" (2.326 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).

Next up was CBS (3.439 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and the season premiere of "Kids Say the Darndest Things" (3.561 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) followed by new episodes of "SEAL Team" (3.664 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and "S.W.A.T." (3.091 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.121 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) offered up "The Goldbergs" (2.790 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5), "Home Economics" (2.170 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7), a full hour of "The Conners" (1.845 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) repeats and "A Million Little Things" (2.037 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).
