Season to Date, 'Nightline' Grows Year to Year in Total Viewers, Posting Its Largest Overall Audience in 3 Years

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (766,000) for the week of June 17, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" out delivered CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in overall viewers for the 5th straight week.

· Season to date, "Nightline" is growing versus the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+1% - 910,000 vs. 901,000), posting its largest overall audience in 3 years - since the 2020-2021 season.

· This week "Nightline" covered Sherri Papini's ex-husband speaking out for first time since her kidnapping hoax; the life and legacy of Willie Mays; Black men and the ballot: how their vote could impact the 2024 election; Justin Timberlake's DWI charge; Joseph Gordon-Levitt on co-starring in "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F"; Eva Longoria's return to the spotlight; the social media "tradwives" trend; saving on vet costs south of the border and more.

NOTE: On Friday (6/21/24), CBS' "After Midnight" was retitled to "After Midnight-ENC," and NBC's "Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Seth Meyers-SM" due to being repeats. CBS' and NBC's weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).
