INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S "A BODY IN THE SNOW: THE TRIAL OF KAREN READ" REACHES MORE THAN 6.3 MILLION VIEWERS ACROSS LINEAR AND STREAMING
(New York, NY) -- Since the premiere of Investigation Discovery's A BODY IN THE SNOW: THE TRIAL OF KAREN READ on Monday, March 17, followed by additional episodes on March 18 and 19, the docuseries has been viewed by 6.3 million P2+ viewers across linear and streaming platforms in the US. In its time period, A BODY IN THE SNOW: THE TRIAL OF KAREN READ helped ID rank as the #2 non-sports/news cable net among W25-54, averaging a .47 W25-54 L3 rating and increasing the time period's ratings by +58%.
A BODY IN THE SNOW: THE TRIAL OF KAREN READ, directed by Terry Dunn-Meurer, featured unprecedented and exclusive access to Karen Read, a Massachusetts woman accused of killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O'Keefe, and her defense team as she prepared for and went through her 2024 murder trial. With Read's 2024 trial ending in a mistrial and a 2025 re-trial looming for April 1, A BODY IN THE SNOW offered incredibly timely insight into Read and the case. Introducing the case to many who may not have heard about it previously, the docuseries offered extensive insight into Read's mindset in her fight to clear her name, as well as into the case itself. A BODY IN THE SNOW additionally featured interviews with local journalists and legal experts, as well as close friends of O'Keefe. The five-part docuseries premiered across three nights on ID.
All episodes of ID's A BODY IN THE SNOW: THE TRIAL OF KAREN READ are now available to stream on Max and discovery+.
