MEGA-HIT 'ROCK THE BLOCK' DELIVERS ANOTHER STANDOUT SEASON FOR HGTV
New York [June 3, 2025] HGTV's mega-hit Rock the Block - the network's highest-rated series among Adults 25-54 since 2022 - delivered another standout season, attracting 7.5 million total viewers across linear and streaming since it premiered on Monday, April 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The seven-episode run averaged a .66 live plus three-day rating among Adults 25-54 and a .84 live plus three-day rating among Women 25-54, respective triple-digit increases of 167 percent and 172 percent over the prior six weeks.
Rock the Block also delivered large upscale audiences, averaging a .67 L3 rating among Upscale Adults 25-54 and a .84 L3 rating among Upscale Women 25-54. In addition, the series saw double-digit growth of 29 percent among Men 25-54 versus the previous season. In its Monday timeslot, Rock the Block drove HGTV to rank as the #1 non-news/sports ad-supported cable network among Adults 25-54 and Men 25-54 and the #2 non-news/sports ad-supported cable network among Women 25-54.
Fans were highly engaged with Rock the Block season content on HGTV's digital platforms, delivering 37.5 million total impressions and 22.7 million video views on HGTV's Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Threads. The season also generated more than 4.5 million page views on HGTV.com.
Hosted by popular carpenter, craftsman, design expert and series' host Ty Pennington (Battle on the Beach), the new season of Rock the Block raised the stakes like never before as two seasoned veteran teams came back to the block to challenge two rookie teams hungry for a win. The HGTV powerhouse duos faced off in an epic renovation battle just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, with the goal to clinch the highest appraised home value to claim coveted Rock the Block bragging rights and a street named in their honor. The veteran teams included Alison Victoria (Sin City Rehab) and Michel Smith Boyd (Luxe for Less) as well as Jonathan Knight (Farmhouse Fixer) and Jordan Knight (Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp), and the rookie teams included Chelsea and Cole DeBoer (Down Home Fab) and Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama (Renovation Aloha).
