'Nightline' Posts Gains Week to Week in Total Viewers, Draws Its Largest Overall Audience in 5 Months, and Posts Double-Digit Gains Year to Year Across the Board

On Monday, 'Nightline' Scores Its Most-Watched Telecast in 5 Months

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (889,000), Adults 25-54 (216,000) and Adults 18-49 (158,000) the week of June 16, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, leading CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" across the board for the 2nd week in a row. In addition, "Nightline" took the top spot in Total Viewers for the 5th straight week.

· "Nightline" increased week to week in Total Viewers (+7% - 889,000 vs. 833,000). "Nightline" drew its largest overall audience in 5 months - since w/o 1/13/25.

· "Nightline" posted double-digit gains year to year in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+16% - 889,000 vs. 766,000), Adults 25-54 (+23% - 216,000 vs. 175,000) and Adults 18-49 (+39% - 158,000 vs. 114,000).

· On Monday (6/16/25), "Nightline" scored its most-watched telecast (1.112 million) in 5 months - since 1/13/25.

· This week, "Nightline" covered the verdict of not guilty of murder in Karen Read's retrial and the prosecution's key witness and his friends speaking out in an ABC News exclusive following Read's acquittal; co-anchor Juju Chang's new sit-down interview with Sherri Papini; jurors seeing so-called "freak off" videos in Diddy trial; the new Hulu docuseries "Call Her Alex"; Keke Palmer sharing intimate stories about her evolution after two decades in the spotlight; the latest episode of "IMPACT x Nightline" titled "Eric Dane Speaks: The Diane Sawyer Interview" and more.
