'High Potential' Season Premiere Vaults to Nearly 16 Million in First Week Across Platforms
Episode Sets Series Record for Streaming Views in Season Debut
· After seven days of sampling across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms, ABC's hit drama "High Potential" vaulted to 15.9 million Total Viewers in its highly anticipated Season 2 premiere.
· Excluding linear encores, the show soared past its series debut last fall by double digits in both Total Viewers (+28% - 12.0 million vs. 9.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 2.21 rating vs. 2.06 rating).
· This marks ABC's best season premiere for a drama among Total Viewers in five years - since 11/12/20 with "Grey's Anatomy."
· The "High Potential" Season 2 premiere set a new streaming record for the series, hitting an all-time high based on views to date since the premiere on Sept. 17 on Hulu, and Hulu on Disney+.
· On linear after seven days, "High Potential" earned 7.34 million Total Viewers and a 0.54 rating among Adults 18-49, rising by double digits over last fall's premiere in both Total Viewers (+40% vs. 5.26 million) and Adults 18-49 (+20% vs. 0.45 rating).
"High Potential" returns Tuesday, Sept. 30 (airing at 10 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC streaming next day on Hulu). When a man with a troubled past is killed under mysterious circumstances, Morgan and the LAPD uncover a tragic motive behind his death. Meanwhile, Morgan opens up to Ava about her father, forcing Ava to confront truths she isn't ready to face.
