'9-1-1: Nashville' Season Premiere Catapults to Over 19 Million Total Viewers
Show Is Season's No. 1 New Program Among Adults 18-49
'9-1-1' and 'Grey's Anatomy' Return Strong - Both Rising by Triple Digits Over Initial Live+Same Day Audience
Over 35 days, ABC's Thursday night drama premieres - including the highly anticipated "9-1-1: Nashville" debut, "9-1-1" and "Grey's Anatomy" - amassed impressive audiences based on competitive cross-platform broadcast series rankings, with all three dramas landing in the Top 10 among Adults 18-49 and "9-1-1: Nashville" standing as the season's No. 1 new series in the key Adult demo.
"9-1-1: Nashville" (9 p.m. EDT/PDT)
After 35 days of viewing on ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, and digital platforms, "9-1-1: Nashville" jumped to a whopping 19.29 million Total Viewers, representing a +414% lift over the show's initial Live+Same Day audience (vs. 3.75 million).
Excluding encores, the series debut garnered 10.44 million Total Viewers and a 2.15 rating among Adults 18-49.
Season to date through 11/16/25 (based on 7-day viewing), "9-1-1: Nashville" stands as the No. 1 new show among Adults 18-49 (1.22 rating) in competitive cross-platform broadcast series rankings.

In its Season 9 premiere, "9-1-1" earned 10.46 million Total Viewers and a 2.17 rating among Adults 18-49, growing over the show's initial Live+Same Day audience by +148% among Total Viewers (vs. 4.22 million) and +623% among Adults 18-49 (vs. 0.30 rating).
Drawing strong interest after a dramatic Season 8, "9-1-1" also grew by double digits over the show's previous season finale (5/15/25) in both Total Viewers (+16% - 10.46 million vs. 8.98 million) and Adults 18-49 (+17% - 2.17 rating vs. 1.86 rating).
Season to date through 11/16/25 (based on 7-day viewing) among all original broadcast series in competitive cross-platform rankings, "9-1-1" ranks No. 4 in Adults 18-49 (1.47 rating) and ranks as the No. 2 drama behind only ABC's "High Potential."
"Grey's Anatomy" (10 p.m. EDT/PDT)
Returning for Season 21 with a shocking twist, "Grey's Anatomy" earned 7.40 million Total Viewers and a 1.74 rating among Adults 18-49, scoring its biggest audience over 35 days among Total Viewers since last season's premiere and its best performance among Adults 18-49 in nearly a year - since 9/26/24 and 11/7/24, respectively.
The show rose dramatically over its initial Live+Same Day audience in both Total Viewers (+184% - 7.40 million vs. 2.61 million) and Adults 18-49 (+544% - 1.74 rating vs. 0.27 rating).
Season to date through 11/16/25 (based on 7-day viewing), "Grey's Anatomy" ranks in the Top 10 among Adults 18-49 in competitive cross-platform rankings.
All three dramas return with their midseason premieres on Thursday, Jan. 8 (8 p.m. on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu).
