DESCRIPTION:
(from CMT's press release, February 2012) CMT's new Saturday night series BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK VACATION have been picked up for second seasons, it was announced today by Jayson Dinsmore, EVP, programming and development, CMT. Both series debuted in January to record-breaking numbers, and have gone on to become the two highest-rated original series in CMT history. The second seasons of BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK VACATION are scheduled to premiere in June (number of episodes TBD). BAYOU BILLIONAIRES tells the story of the hardworking and close-knit Dowden family of Shreveport, La. who recently struck it rich when the fourth largest deposit of natural gas in the United States was found on their property. MY BIG REDNECK VACATION, hosted by Tom Arnold, follows the extended Clampet family as they experience the vacation-of-a-lifetime in the Hamptons. The finales of both series will premiere on Saturday, March 31, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT. |
