DESCRIPTION:
(from Disney+'s press release, May 2024) Today, Disney+ announced the start of production of "Breslau" (working title), the first Polish Original production for the service. The cast includes, among others, Tomasz Schuchardt ("Jesteś Bogiem", "Chrzest"), Agata Kulesza ("Róża", "Ida") and Sandra Drzymalska ("EO", "Filip"). The series is directed by Leszek Dawid ("Jesteś Bogiem", "Ki"). Bartosz Janiszewski and Magdalena Żakowska are responsible for the screenwriting. The eight-part crime drama is set in Breslau in year 1936. It tells the story of a police commissioner Franz Podolsky, who investigates a brutal murder. Because of the upcoming Olympic Games, the pressure to catch the murderer is immense. |
