ADDITIONAL NOTES: renewed through the 2015-16 season (the show's third of 10 episodes) on 1/14/15
DESCRIPTION: (from Comedy Central's press release, January 2015) Yaaaaas! It's the start of a new year and the ballsy broads of "Broad City" are putting down roots and not leaving New York any time soon! Comedy Central has renewed the critically-acclaimed scripted series for a third season of 10 episodes, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, Comedy Central. "It has just been brought to my attention that 'Broad City' is a female-centric show, but we're going to do more anyway," said Alterman. Named one of the "Best TV Shows of 2014" by Time, Rolling Stone, Complex, A.V. Club and HitFix and described as "one of this season's best new comedies" and an "instant sensation" by Rolling Stone, the series was an immediate hit when it premiered last January. Jacobson and Glazer's dynamic relationship, combined with their impeccable comedic timing and chemistry, earned the series universal praise from fans and critics alike.
