DESCRIPTION: (from truTV's press release, May 2013) truTV heads to America's shipping ports on the hunt for hidden treasures in Container Wars, the new series from the producers of Storage Hunters. The show follows the excitement as treasure hunters descend upon commercial shipping ports to bid on what they hope are containers filled with big-ticket items. The bidders have no idea what's inside a container until the doors are opened, after which they only have a few minutes before the auction begins to assess the items that are visible and decide whether to bid on the container. When the bidding is over and the dust has settled, the winner is finally able to comb through the contents in greater detail. The results could mean a big profit or a total bust.
