DESCRIPTION:
(from BYUtv's web site, October 2026) Seven young adults from around the world leave their homes and travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, where they begin a journey centered on one of America's most recognizable sacred landmarks: the Salt Lake Temple. As the temple undergoes a historic renovation and seismic upgrade, they receive rare access to the construction and discover why this building has mattered to generations of people. Their experience introduces them to the history, architecture, craftsmanship, and sacrifice behind the temple while opening a larger conversation about why people create sacred spaces. As they explore Temple Square and learn about the purpose of temples in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they begin to see the temple as more than a historic building. It is a place designed to point people toward Jesus Christ, strengthen faith, and help God's children find greater meaning and purpose. Their journey begins with questions, discovery, and an invitation to look deeper into what it means today. |
