DESCRIPTION:
(from AMC Networks' press release, July 2025) Shudder's new unscripted, horror-based competition show Guts & Glory, from award-winning special effects artist and executive producer Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead, Creepshow), is set to debut with a two-episode premiere on Tuesday, September 9 on Shudder and AMC+ (U.S. and Canada). The announcement was made by Nicotero during AMC Networks' San Diego Comic-Con panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, on which he is an executive producer. New episodes of the six-episode series, which features an integrated sponsorship by Hyundai, will rollout weekly on Tuesdays. Guts & Glory flips the script on the traditional competition show - thrusting players into an immersive horror experience full of unexpected challenges. The new series blends the intensity of a horror film with the pressure of a survival game where contestants are confronted with their fears in various scenarios. |
