Hardcore Pawn takes viewers behind the scenes at one of the country's largest pawnshops, American Jewelry & Loan, owned by the appropriately named Les Gold. Working for - and sometimes clashing with - Les are his son, Seth, who is being groomed to eventually take over the business, and Les' daughter, Ashley, who doesn't think Seth is up to the job. The current season picked up where the previous season's shocking finale left off. In the wake of their discovery that one of the store's most trusted employees has been robbing them blind, the Golds reached a tipping point. Devastated by the betrayal, they're determined to make American Jewelry and Loan's security a top priority. But Seth has gone overboard with some of the new security measures, placing himself at odds with Les, Ashley and especially the staff. As a result, the Golds come perilously close to having an all-out mutiny on their hands. With the foundation of his business shaken to the core, the implications for Les could be life changing.
