DESCRIPTION:
(from A&E's press release, June 2025) A&E's new series "Lie Detector: Truth or Deception" examines individuals long suspected of serious crimes who voluntarily submit to taking a polygraph test hoping to clear their names in the eyes of their family and community. "Lie Detector: Truth or Deception" is hosted by award-winning investigative journalist Tony Harris, who brings critical context and analysis drawn from his background in criminal justice reporting, and the results of a professionally administered lie detector test by George Olivo, Former FBI agent and veteran polygraph examiner. The series premieres Thursday, July 10th at 9pm ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere followed by new episodes Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT beginning July 17th. |
