(from Netflix's press release, February 2025) Famous Dutch celebrity couple Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smit will host the Dutch edition of the popular reality dating series Love Is Blind. Netflix announced the news today. Love Is Blind debuted in the United States in 2020 and quickly grew into a global phenomenon, with local versions in countries including Brazil, Japan, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Mexico, Love Is Blind: Habibi, and Argentina. In this social experiment, participants search for true love based solely on emotional connection, without ever seeing each other. Love Is Blind: Netherlands is set to premiere on Netflix later this year. |
