DESCRIPTION:
(from Discovery Channel's press release, May 2025) For nearly two decades, British adventurer and survivalist Ed Stafford has risen to every challenge. From walking the length of the Amazon River, to living self-sufficiently for 60 days on a deserted island near Fiji, to pitting himself in a series of survival races against the best survivalists in the world, he's worked to master the skills he needs to survive in any environment. In this season of Marooned, those skills will be put to the test, as he strives to not only survive but thrive in some of the world's toughest environments. Filmed across the globe, Ed Stafford will be dropped into each unique location without food, water, or tools of any kind. With only his camera equipment, he'll film himself for 10 days, as he works to forage for food, find water, build shelter, and create a base camp so he can thrive in this environment. |
