DESCRIPTION:
(from TBS's press release, September 2011) After striking gold with House of Payne, Tyler Perry did it again with this comedy about a family-run retirement home and the oddball patriarch who owns it. David Mann stars as the fun-loving, fashion-challenged "Downtown" Leroy Brown. Also starring are Tamela Mann, Lamman Rucker, Denise Boutte, Jeanette Sousa, Antonio Jaramillo, Juanita Jennings, Tony Vaughn, K Callan and Logan Browning.Like its companion show, Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns ranks among the top sitcoms on cable. The show comes to TBS from Debmar-Mercury. As he does for his other series, Perry is once again serving as executive producer. |
