DESCRIPTION:
(from Netflix's press release, June 2026) Netflix has announced the production and cast of the new series Paper Man (WT), a crime drama about an overlooked man who makes knock-offs for a living - until he creates the perfect counterfeit bill and is pulled into a dangerous world. Paper Man (WT) follows Cha Myung-jo, a man who works at a company that makes imitation character stickers. Though he's technically the head of his household, at home he's constantly overshadowed by his highly competent wife, who's a judge. However, when Myung-jo comes to create a counterfeit bill so flawless it can't be distinguished from the real thing, he steps into an unexpected world he never imagined. Blending the tension of a crime thriller with drama, Paper Man (WT) explores the value of money, human desire, and the boundaries between what is "real" and "fake" as defined by society - with both humor and bite. |
