DESCRIPTION:
(from Paramount Global's press release, July 2025) Paramount Global (NASDAQ: PARA, PARAA), Park County and South Park Digital Studios today announced an expansive renewal with South Park co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for five years, including 50 new episodes, all 26 previous season episodes and extending South Park on Comedy Central and Paramount+ around the world. In addition, for the first time ever, Paramount+ will become the U.S. home for the South Park library and all new episodes kicking off with the new season debuting on Comedy Central today and Paramount+ tomorrow. Comedy Central's South Park launched on August 13, 1997. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the co-creators of South Park. Parker, Stone, Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II are the Executive Producers of the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning South Park. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are Producers. Christopher Brion is the Creative Director of South Park Digital Studios. |
