DESCRIPTION:
(from Viaplay US's press release, July 2025) A razor-sharp dramedy about one man's slow-motion meltdown in the land of padel, passive-aggression, and painfully perfect lawns. Anders has everything he's supposed to want: a suburban dream house, a beautiful family, and a respectable job. He also despises all of it - the status games, the forced small talk, the fake dinner parties. When his daughter is bullied at school, Anders finally snaps. What begins as righteous anger spirals into a deliciously unhinged campaign of suburban sabotage. Suburbia skewers middle-class malaise with deadpan narration, biting humour, and impeccable writing. |
