(from Netflix's press release, October 2026) Netflix has announced today the adaptation and start of production of The Whisper of Fire, a four-part limited series based on the novel of the same name by Spanish author Javier Castillo, published by Suma de Letras (Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial). The miniseries tells the story of Laura, a young astrophysicist whose body is found in Teide National Park.
