Video: A Few Minutes With... "Southland" Co-Star Regina King

If there was one thing that our Jim Halterman witnessed from cast and crew when visiting the set of TNT's "Southland" right before the Christmas holidays it was gratitude. During its short time at NBC, the John Wells-produced crime drama premiered in the Spring of 2009, did well enough to warrant a second season renewal but then was abruptly canceled before those sophomore season episodes could air. TNT quickly moved in and picked up the produced episodes, put "Southland" back in production and those new episodes begin airing tonight on the cable network. Series stars Regina King (who plays Det. Lydia Adams), Michael Cudlitz (Officer John Cooper) and Ben McKenzie (Officer Ben Sherman) shared their thoughts on the vast difference between their experience at NBC and TNT with Halterman as well as what their characters are up to in the third season.
