"House" will welcome some new faces when the veteran drama kicks off its eighth season on Monday. The season premiere ("Twenty Vicodin") picks up with House (Hugh Laurie) at the East New Jersey Correctional Facility as a result of his actions in last year's finale. There he meets Dr. Jessica Adams (Odette Annable), a young, intelligent and bright-eyed clinic doctor who's equally intrigued by a fellow inmate's unusual medical symptoms.
The following week in "Transplant," viewers will be introduced to smart yet timid resident Dr. Chi Park (Charlyne Yi), who likewise is drawn into House's orbit. During FOX's recent fall junket, our Jim Halterman chatted with both actresses about joining the series, if working with Hugh Laurie was what they expected and Annable's efforts to juggle her new gig on "House" with the last-minute reprieve of fellow FOX entry "Breaking In."
"House" returns this Monday, October 3 at 9:00/8:00c on FOX.
