CBS NEWS PREMIERES "BROOKLYN DA," A SIX-PART DOCUMENTARY SERIES FEATURING THE DRIVEN, HARD-CHARGING PROSECUTORS OF THE NATION'S LARGEST URBAN DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

"BROOKLYN DA" - TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2013, 10:00 PM, ET/PT

CBS News will premiere BROOKLYN DA, a new six-part documentary series featuring the driven, hard-charging career prosecutors of the nation's largest urban district attorney's office, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

BROOKLYN DA focuses on an eclectic group of men and women in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and their lives inside and outside of the courtroom. Meanwhile, young Assistant District Attorney Kathleen Collins pursues a heart-wrenching case against an alleged pimp busted for human trafficking, only to find the case take an unexpected turn no one could have anticipated. Finally, veteran prosecutor Ken Taub, Deputy District Attorney, Chief, Homicide Bureau, seeks justice for the four young daughters of a New York City police officer killed in the line of duty.

Ruth Chenetz, Liza Finley, Lisa Freed, Susan Mallie, Alec Sirken, Taigi Smith, Kim Kennedy, Chris O'Connell and Elena DiFiore are the producers. Richard Barber, Doreen Schechter, Michael Vele are the producer-editors. Mead Stone is the senior creative producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer.
