SEASON FOUR OF MTV'S HIT COMEDY "AWKWARD" IS BACK SEPTEMBER 23 AT 10:00 PM ET/PT WITH EVEN MORE SCANDALS AND SHENANIGANS

College Admission Verdicts, Bouts Of Senioritis, New And Old Romances, Shocking Truths And Huge Revelations Will Influence The Futures Of Everyone At Palos Hills High School

MTV's critically acclaimed comedy series "Awkward" returns for the second half of season four on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00 PM ET/PT, followed by the season two premiere of "Faking It" at 10:30 PM ET/PT.

Senior year at Palos Hills High School continues this fall and the stakes are higher than ever for Jenna Hamilton. After a rough start to senior year, culminating in a dramatic senior ski trip, Jenna tries to get back on track by focusing on her future and dreaded final exams. Jenna and her friends anxiously await college admission verdicts while trying to battle senioritis and relish their dwindling time together.

As adulthood looms closer, they look forward to graduation, but have a lot to figure out before they reach that milestone - romances both new and old percolate, families are turned upside down with huge revelations and friendships are put to the test. The impending sense of time running out heightens Jenna and Matty's interactions, forcing them to figure out if they have a romantic future or if they are meant to just be friends. Their tense relations are further complicated by a shocking scandal at Palos Hills High which triggers an all-out battle of the sexes. The whirlwind of senior year draws to a close with a scandalous Spring Break finale involving plenty of sun, sand, secrets and shenanigans to go around.

"Awkward" stars Ashley Rickards as Jenna, Beau Mirchoff as Matty, Molly Tarlov as Sadie, Jillian Rose Reed as Tamara, Brett Davern as Jake, Nikki DeLoach as Lacey, Desi Lydic as Valerie, Greer Grammer as Lissa and Mike Faiola as Kevin.
