USA NETWORK UNVEILS NEW TRAILERS FOR 'MR. ROBOT' AND FIRST SEASON DRAMAS 'SHOOTER' AND 'FALLING WATER' AT NBCUNIVERSAL 2016 UPFRONT

NEW YORK - May 16, 2016 - USA Network debuted the Season 2 trailer for its Golden Globe(R) and Peabody Award - Winning series MR. ROBOT at this morning's NBCUniversal 2016 Upfront Presentation, which featured stars and content from NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, NBC Broadcast, News, Sports and Telemundo Networks. In addition, USA previewed two of its highly anticipated upcoming drama series - SHOOTER and FALLING WATER - for the very first time.

MR. ROBOT, which will premiere its second season on Wednesday, July 13 at 10/9c, follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a young cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group 'fsociety' after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Both Malek and Slater were in attendance at today's Upfront event. The award-winning drama hails from writer and executive producer Sam Esmail ("Comet") as well as Anonymous Content executive producers Steve Golin ("True Detective") and Chad Hamilton ("Breakup at a Wedding") and is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

SHOOTER, which will premiere on USA Network this summer, is based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, Point of Impact, and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. Starring Ryan Phillipe ("Secrets and Lies") and Omar Epps ("House"), who both attended today's Upfront, the series follows the courageous journey of Bob Lee Swagger, a highly-decorated ex-Marine sniper who is coaxed back into action after he learns about a plot to kill the President. SHOOTER is executive produced by Wahlberg ("Boardwalk Empire," "Entourage") of Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson ("Boardwalk Empire," "Ballers") of Leverage Entertainment; and Lorenzo di Bonaventura ("Transformers," "The Real O'Neals"). John Hlavin ("The Shield") wrote the pilot and will also executive produce. Simon Cellan Jones ("Ballers") directed the pilot. SHOOTER is a co-production between Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions.

FALLING WATER, a mind-bending drama debuting fall 2016 - is the story of three unrelated people who slowly realize that they are dreaming separate parts of a single common dream. The deeper they dig, the more they come to realize that the visions found in their common dream just might hold the key to the fate of the world. The series, from Universal Cable Productions, is executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd ("The Walking Dead") of Valhalla Entertainment, Blake Masters ("Brotherhood") and the late Emmy Award-Winner Henry Bromell ("Homeland"). David Ajala (Fast & Furious 6), who attended today's Upfront event, Will Yun Lee ("Hawaii 5-0") and Lizzie Brochere ("American Horror Story: Asylum") star.
