JERRY SEINFELD RIDES INTO SUMMER WITH NEW SEASON OF HIS ORIGINAL SERIES, 'COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE' SET TO PREMIERE ON THURSDAY, JUNE 16 ON CRACKLE

CULVER CITY, Calif. (June 6, 2016) - Crackle, Sony's free streaming network, today released the new season trailer for season eight of Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." Premiering Thursday, June 16, the new season features six original episodes that will stream weekly beginning Thursday, June 16.

Guests set to appear this season of the Emmy(R) nominated series include (not in air-order): comedienne Margaret Cho, SNL creator Lorne Michaels, stand-up comic Jim Gaffigan, "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver, actor JB Smoove and writer/producer of some of the biggest hit films, Judd Apatow.

Sponsored by Acura, the series is executive produced by Jerry Seinfeld and Embassy Row. Seasons one through seven are currently streaming on Crackle.

"Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" is Crackle's flagship original, unscripted series and anchors the streaming network's evolving slate of original premium content, which includes its first original scripted one-hour drama "The Art of More" with Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth, Cary Elwes and Christian Cooke; the upcoming new scripted drama, "StartUp," starring Martin Freeman, Adam Brody, Edi Gathegi and Otmara Marrero; the stop-motion animated comedy series "SuperMansion," with Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Keegan Michael-Key and Jillian Bell and Crackle's weekly live game show series "Sports Jeopardy!" with Emmy(R) award-winning sportscaster Dan Patrick.
