It's 1972, and everyone goes to bed together... with Johnny Carson, TV's biggest star. 19 year old Nebraskan Andy Klavin (Ian Nelson - "THE HUNGER GAMES," "TEEN WOLF") stumbles his way into a gig as a gofer at Carson's "The Tonight Show" and into a world that will change his life. "THERE'S... JOHNNY!" takes a fictional comedic trip back in time, to go behind the man in front of the curtain, and look at the lives and loves of the people who make all of America laugh. The Seeso Original Series is set to debut August 24.
"THERE'S... JOHNNY!" also stars Jane Levy ("DON'T BREATHE," "SUBURGATORY," "SHAMELESS"), Tony Danza ("TAXI," "DON JON"), Roger Bart ("DESPARATE HOUSEWIVES"), and T'keyah Keymah ("THE COSBY SHOW").
The seven episode, coming of age story is created and written by Paul Reiser ("MAD ABOUT YOU," "WHIPLASH," "RED OAKS") and David Steven Simon ("THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR," "MAD ABOUT YOU), and Executive Produced by Reiser, Simon and David Gordon Green ("RED OAKS," "VICE PRINCIPALS").
