Three Wishes and a Deadly Bet: Main Trailer Drops for 'Genie, Make a Wish'
Premiering globally on October 3, Genie, Make a Wish is a zero-stress fantasy romantic comedy that reunites Kim Woo-bin and Suzy in a playful yet high-stakes tale of wishes, temptation, and love.
Kim Woo-bin, a devilish genie freed after a thousand years, has long thrived on corrupting humans through their deepest desires. His newest master, however, is Ka-young (Suzy) - a stoic woman completely unmoved by emotions. Instead of wishing, she confronts Genie with a shocking "best-of-five" bet: if his claim that humans inevitably turn corrupt proves true, she'll make all her wishes - and then give up her life. Anticipation runs high for the dazzling reunion of rom-com icons Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, alongside a colorful ensemble including Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Ko Kyu-phil, and Lee Zoo-young.
What follows is a rollercoaster of tension and heart-fluttering moments. From trading insults and shoving each other off rooftops to sharing a breathtaking kiss and a timeless waltz, Genie and Ka-young's strange bond evolves into something neither expected. As the mystery deepens, why does Ka-young, once emotionless, begin to shed tears? What ignites Genie's fury? And what happens when someone else gains possession of the lamp?
"Genie, Make a Wish is about three wishes and countless temptations," says writer Kim Eun-sook. "Audience will be swept away, almost unconsciously, by the storm of emotions and desires that ripple through these characters and the world they inhabit."
Genie, Make a Wish is a bewitching fantasy rom-com series that will premiere worldwide on October 3, only on Netflix.
