Almost ten years after his passing, the series Juan Gabriel: I Must, I Can, I Will opens the door to more than four decades of the life of Alberto Aguilera Valadez, who, through videos, audio recordings, and images captured by himself, recorded the most intimate side of the man offstage.
Beyond the artist that left his mark on entire generations, this documentary shows the human being who transformed loneliness into inspiration, vulnerability into art, his songs into hymns, and who built a bridge across the world through his music.
Directed by María José Cuevas and produced by Laura Woldenberg and Ivonne Gutiérrez , the four episodes of this series will give viewers the chance to get to know Alberto Aguilera, in order to understand Juan Gabriel.
Juan Gabriel: I Must, I Can, I Will premieres October 30. Only on Netflix.
