Netflix unveils the trailer for '53 Sundays', the new film by Cesc Gay
Netflix unveiled today the trailer, poster and new images for 53 Sundays, the adaptation of the play of the same name by Cesc Gay and will premiere globally on Netflix on March 27. This dramatic comedy has been written and directed by Cesc Gay.
Starring Javier Cámara, Carmen Machi, Javier Gutiérrez, and Alexandra Jiménez, the film is a dramatic comedy that tells the story of three siblings who get together to decide what to do with their 86-year-old father, who has begun to exhibit strange behavior. Should they take him to a nursing home? Should he go live with one of them? What begins as a polite family gathering turns into a situation that is as funny as it is unexpected and spirals out of control.
The film is produced by Imposible Films, with Marta Esteban and Laia Bosch as executive producers. Written and directed by Cesc Gay, 53 Sundays was shot at Netflix Production Center in Tres Cantos and various locations in central Madrid.
