'The Fixers' New Trailer Unveils a Dangerous World of Covert Assignments
Netflix has unveiled the main trailer and key art for Taiwanese action-comedy crime series The Fixers, offering a deeper look into a hidden network of covert operatives embedded in Taiwan's traditional temple culture.
Co-directed by Hung Tzu-hsuan (96 Minutes) and Henri Chang (Copycat Killer), the series brings together a cross-generation ensemble cast led by Christopher Lee, Shou Lou, Regina Lei, Tou Chung-hua, Kelly Lin, Fu Meng-po, Chang Yung-cheng and more.
At the heart of The Fixers is a distinctive underground order rooted in Taiwan's temple traditions. The newly released trailer introduces two rival organizations: the Ching He faction, led by Felix Chiang (Christopher Lee) and Louis Hsueh (Shou Lou), and Yeh Yueh Tong, commanded by the formidable Madam Fan (Kelly Lin), with Regina Lei's Mina Shen serving as one of its Fixers.
The trailer follows Chiang, a down-on-his-luck former gangster who stumbles into a shadowy network of Fixers handling sensitive problems for clients on both sides of the law. Their work involves anonymous clients, covert missions and high-stakes conflicts that could shift the balance of power among rival factions.
Chiang is paired with the cool and calculating Hsueh. While Chiang draws on years of hard-earned street experience, Hsueh approaches each situation with precision and strategic foresight. Despite having little in common, the unlikely partners become Ching He's newest problem-solving duo.
Their latest assignment takes an ominous turn when they discover that their client has secretly contacted Yeh Yueh Tong and concealed the mission's true target: someone within Ching He. Chiang and Hsueh soon realize that the assignment is far more dangerous and complex than they anticipated.
The trailer also signals the growing ambitions of Yeh Yueh Tong leader Madam Fan, who appears determined to seize control of Ching He and reclaim what she believes rightfully belongs to her. Her resolve suggests that the rivalry is rooted in a deeply personal and previously untold history.
Even as tensions between Ching He and Yeh Yueh Tong intensify, Hsueh and Shen develop a charged relationship that blurs the line between rivalry and attraction. With the two Fixers serving opposing organizations burdened by years of unresolved hostility, their growing connection further complicates the line between friend and foe.
The conflict between Ching He and Yeh Yueh Tong is only one strand of a much larger conspiracy. Fu Meng-po stars as Tristan Hsueh, Louis' older brother and a mayoral candidate, while Lee Chih-hsi plays their father, Jerome Hsueh, a former government minister. Although the family operates in the public arena of politics, the trailer hints at undisclosed interests connecting them to the Fixers' underground network.
The main trailer also features Wang Po-chieh, Chu Pak-hong, Jeff Wang, Harry Chang, Sam Lin and Sun Mai-chieh, whose characters become entangled in a series of dangerous cases. As political and business elites, criminal factions and rival Fixer organizations converge, seemingly unrelated clients and assignments begin to reveal unexpected connections.
Step into the shadows, where every problem comes at a price. The Fixers launches globally on Netflix on September 17.

Synopsis: Felix Chiang, a debt-ridden gangster facing a midlife crisis, is unexpectedly recruited by a mysterious organization known as Ching He to become a Fixer. Operating in plain sight from the century-old Ching He Temple, its members discreetly solve difficult problems for criminals, political figures, business elites, and anyone else unable to handle matters themselves.
Felix is paired with Louis Hsueh (Shou Lou), the arrogant scion of a political family. The mismatched duo clash at every turn, while the enigmatic Fixer Mina Shen (Regina Lei) repeatedly complicates their missions.
