DESCRIPTION:
(from MGM's press release, March 2024) MGM+, the premium linear channel and streaming service, have today announced it has greenlit the mystery thriller Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue. The series will also have a British broadcast partner to be announced later. The six-episode original limited mystery series is written, created, and executive produced by Anthony Horowitz CBE (Alex Rider, Magpie Murders), and is produced by Eleventh Hour Films, a Sony Pictures Television (SPT)-backed company. SPT will distribute the series worldwide. Filming will commence this May in the Canary Islands. The series follows the tale of nine strangers who find themselves lost in a remote Mexican jungle after their small plane travelling from Guatemala to the U.S. crashes. One by one, the survivors are murdered, leaving the remaining passengers to solve the terrifying mystery before they too fall victim to the killer.
