"Dr. Feelbad" -- Convinced that a prominent heart surgeon actually murdered his so-called missing wife, Sebastian enlists his team's help in building a compelling case against the man, on SHARK, Thursday, Oct. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. John Showalter directed the episode written by Keith Eisner, the series' supervising producer.

Steven Eckholdt ("The L Word," "The West Wing"), Nora Dunn ("Saturday Night Live," "Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution") and Ron Glass ("Barney Miller") guest star, respectively, as the missing woman's husband, his lawyer and the trial judge.

Despite not having a body to prove a murder actually occurred, Sebastian encourages his team to use creative means to secure evidence from Dr. Mitchell Sterling's home and obtain testimony from his eight-year-old son, Ethan. A DNA match to the wife's blood on the Sterling's master bedroom rug, the son's revelations of the night of his mother's alleged disappearance and suspicious phone records give the team a running start in the trial as they continue to dig for more evidence. However, after a couple of their preliminary theories don't pan out, they fear that, though they remain confident of Sterling's guilt, they may have too much riding on the testimony of his frightened young son. Meanwhile, used to living on his own, Sebastian's frustrated when Julie chides him for two-timing his girlfriend, Rachel.

DESCRIPTION:
(from CBS's press release) SHARK is a drama that follows the professional and personal life of Sebastian Stark, a charismatic, supremely self-confident and cutthroat prosecutor who chose to leave his long-beloved career as an ace defense attorney after a disturbing outcome in one of his cases resulted in a personal epiphany. Though Sebastian is seeking to redeem himself, he has no intention of changing his underhanded approach to winning cases just because he's now working for the other side of the law. Having weathered a challenging but successful first year as the head of the Los Angeles District Attorney's High Profile Crime Unit, Sebastian has had the added good fortune of persuading the ambitious, accomplished and recently displaced former D.A., Jessica Devlin, to revisit her glory days as a trial attorney by becoming a senior member of his team. The junior lawyers on Sebastian's team, who are beginning to use some of Sebastian's infamous brass knuckle tactics themselves, include the smart, tough and passionate Raina Troy, the shrewd and high-powered Madeleine Poe, and the newest member, Danny Reyes, whose edgy and aggressive style challenges Sebastian at every turn. The team also relies heavily on their resourceful investigator, Isaac Wright, a former LAPD detective. In addition to striving to be a good father to his 17-year-old daughter, Julie, and enjoying his status as one of L.A.'s most eligible bachelors, this legal shark is intent on proving that he can play, and win, for the "good guys."
