ANOTHER DEATH AT THE FUNERAL HOME LEADS NED BACK TO COEUR D'COEURS, ON ABC'S "PUSHING DAISIES"

"The Fun in Funeral" Another strange death at the Schatz Funeral Home leads Ned back to the scene where he brought Chuck back to life. Meanwhile, Olive unwittingly becomes the messenger in Chuck's plan to bring a little sunshine into the lives of Aunts Lily and Vivian via some anti-depressant laced pies, on Pushing Daisies," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Pushing Daisies" stars Lee as Ned, Anna Friel as Chuck, Chi McBride as Emerson Cod, Ellen Greene as Vivian, with Swoosie Kurtz as Lily and Kristin Chenoweth as Olive Snook. Jim Dale is the narrator.

Guest starring in "The Fun in Funeral" are Field Cate as young Ned, Sy Richardson as the coroner, Eddie Shin as Wilfred Woodruff, Raul Esparza as Alfredo, Sam Pancake as Donald Funk, Brad Grunberg as Louis and Lawrence Schatz, Victor Z. Isaac as the delivery boy, Howard Mann as the elderly man and Kristin Dos Santos as the 30s woman.

"The Fun in Funeral" was written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Paul Edwards.

"Pushing Daisies" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.

DESCRIPTION:
(from ABC's press release, September 2008) Chuck goes undercover as a "Bee Girl" at a honey-based cosmetics company after their new spokesmodel (guest star Autumn Reeser) is stung to death. She soon discovers that office politics are killer (literally) between the founder (guest star Missi Pyle as Betty Bee) and the new owner (guest star French Stewart as Woolsey Nicholls). Meanwhile, Ned can't stand her growing independence or the fact that she wants to move out of his apartment. In other developments, Lily spirits Olive off to a nunnery so she won't spill Lily's deep, dark secret, on the Second-Season premiere of ABC's critically-acclaimed "Pushing Daisies" nominated for 12 Emmy Awards -- WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
