"State of Grace" -- After Joan joins the debate team per God�s wish, she and a stuttering student are paired together to defend the new and unpopular school security measures, on a rebroadcast of JOAN OF ARCADIA, Friday, Sept. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Assuming she�s on the debate team to help the stuttering Scott, Joan is surprised when God tells her to remain on the team, even after she helps Scott realize his true calling as a talented writer. Meanwhile, as Joan prepares to defend her debate topic on the school�s new security measures, she ends up in rift with Grace, who vehemently opposes the lack of privacy caused by being searched upon entering the school. Additionally, Will investigates a hate crime against a priest, Helen considers applying for an available art teacher position at the high school and Kevin begins to fight the momentum of his budding relationship with Rebecca.
