DOUG'S PLANS TO EARN BROWNIE POINTS BY TAKING CARRIE TO A SPA LANDS HIM IN HOT WATER, ON THE SEVENTH-SEASON PREMIERE OF "THE KING OF QUEENS," WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 29 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"Lost Vegas" -- Doug gets busted when he tries to score some brownie points with Carrie so she will let him go to Vegas with the boys on the seventh-season premiere of THE KING OF QUEENS, Wednesday, Sept. 29 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Schiller directed the script written Tom Hertz, one of the show's executive producers.

Doug takes Carrie to a spa hoping to earn some credit so she'll let him go to Vegas with the boys. But when the Vegas trip gets cancelled, Doug must figure out how to cash in on his earned credit before Carrie forgets. Unfortunately for Doug, Carrie realizes his true motives behind their spa retreat when he accidentally lets it slip. Meanwhile, Arthur tries to teach Spence his fool-proof system for beating the "house" in blackjack.

THE KING OF QUEENS revolves around Doug (James) and Carrie Heffernan (Remini), a loving blue-collar couple from Queens, N.Y., who share their humble home with her eccentric father Arthur (Stiller). After a long day's work as a parcel deliveryman, Doug retreats to his home for some peace and quiet, which is often interrupted by Carrie's slightly bizarre father for whom they hire Holly (Sullivan), a dog walker who takes Arthur on walks. Doug's only refuge is the little time he spends alone with Carrie and in the company of his buddies Deacon (Williams), Spence (Oswalt) and Danny (Valentine), who he turns to for advice that just might make his life better, if he only bothered to follow it.

THE KING OF QUEENS is produced by Hanley Productions Inc. and CBS Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television. Michael Weithorn is executive consultant. Tom Hertz, Tony Sheehan, Kevin James and Jeff Sussman are executive producers.
