ON "JOAN OF ARCADIA," FRIDAY, OCT. 8
"Back to the Garden" -- After God suggests she be part of a growth process, Joan decides her science project will be to plant a garden in an inhospitable area to see if it can survive, on JOAN OF ARCADIA, Friday, Oct. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Kevin Dowling directed the episode that was written by Joy Gregory.
When God suggests Joan "cultivate" a new place for herself, it motivates her to try to convince her less-than-enthusiastic physics group to plant a garden under the school's bleachers. Meanwhile, Will and Helen are distressed to learn that not only did Kevin secretly confront his former friend about his lawsuit against the Girardis, but now his family is using the meeting as a means to double the damages they are seeking. Also, while investigating the murder of an eyewitness to a shooting, Will begins to believe there is a leak inside his own precinct.
