HOPE AND FAITH TRY TO PASS AS A GAY COUPLE, ON ABC'S "HOPE & FAITH"

"Queer as Hope" - When Justin's principal catches him smoking and Hayley steals the frogs from her biology class, Hope worries that everyone in town will think she's a bad mother -- a fear that is compounded when Faith attempts to rent an apartment from a lesbian landlord by passing herself and Hope off as lesbian lovers. When Hope's picture appears in the paper with the caption "local lesbian," her bid for three-time mother of the year is in jeopardy, on "Hope & Faith," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Hope & Faith" stars Faith Ford as Hope, Kelly Ripa as Faith, Ted McGinley as Charley, Megan Fox as Sydney, Macey Cruthird as Hayley and Paulie Litt as Justin.

Guest-starring are Liza Colon-Zayas as Rusti, Jacki Hoffman as Bobbi, Carrie Preston as Sally Jones, Heather Fairfield as Heather, Ken Krugman as Ted Jones and William Bogert as Mr. Simmons.

"Queer as Hope" is written by Joanna Johnson and directed by Don Scardino.

"Hope & Faith" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
